“Around the House” debuted in April of 1988, originally on AM 750 KXL, and four hosts later landed on Salem Media's AM 860 “The Answer” in Portland. In 2019 the show teamed with Envision Networks and The SmartTalk Radio Network.

In Hour 2 we’re going to dive into pool safety and talk about the best locations for those above-ground pool kits.  if you are buying one of those above ground pool kits. Plus, we’ll discuss some tips and tricks for getting the most out of your air conditioner.

ABOUT THE HOST

Eric Goranson has been a Certified Kitchen Designer with the National Kitchen and Bath Association for nearly 20 years and has been designing since 1993. As a nationally syndicated radio talk show host Eric talks with homeowners and contractors about remodeling and new construction techniques every week. His podcast is now heard internationally and, with about half of the listening audience being from the trades, his show has great support from the contracting community. Each week Eric walks his clients through projects and home improvement topics on the radio and podcast. He has managed everything from home builders, design firms, to custom cabinet shops and has been involved in thousands of projects being constructed or remodeled. From opening keynote addresses to hands-on training seminars, Eric uses his communications skills to inspire and educate the people that are attending his events. He speaks at national construction and remodeling events like the Northeastern Retail Lumber Associations Lumber and Building Materials Expo, National Kitchen and Bath Association’s Voices from The Industry, and for the National Association of Home Builders International Building show and the High-Performance Building Zone training area.
